Four objects have been registered as national and local intangible cultural heritages thanks to the state policy on protecting the national heritages of Korea which is preserving and glorifying the history and tradition of the nation.
  The legends of Moran Hill and Mt. Myohyang have been registered as national intangible cultural heritages, which deal with the noble patriotic spirit of the people and their beautiful sentiments.
  They were woven with stories such as "General Ulmil" and "Chongryu Pavilion at Moonlit Night" which are told along with famous mountains.
  Wedding, one of the traditional customs of the nation, has been registered as a national intangible cultural heritage as it is a valuable cultural legacy showing well the unique emotion, morality and good manners and customs of the Korean nation related to the wedding procedure, costume and table preparation.
  Haeju boiled-rice hash, a special food of South Hwanghae Province, registered as a local intangible cultural heritage, shows the talents of the Korean people who made an effective use of various kinds of local materials in diet.
